After I posted my resume on a particular website, I was contacted by a company to go down for interview saying that they find my profile very suitable. But when I asked what is the job about, they said it will be discussed when we meet up. I tried to look for more info on the company but could find none. It makes me wonder whether this is a scam or are they an insurance company. Anyone has any similar experience before?

Finally, after searching the web and calling up the company, I confirmed that they are from Prudential and the job requires me to sell insurance on an ad-hoc basis. Even though the person on the phone ensured that they are into financial asset and risk management, I was still skeptical because I am fully aware of how companies lure you in for a meeting so that they can brain wash you to join them or buy their products. I courteously turned down their invitation.
